When a cat is angry you will hear the cat hiss. The reason for this is that it is warning whoever or whatever is coming near it that is should not be coming any closer. Hissing sometimes will also have a yowl that comes from it and that is to warn again. When a cat is very frightened it will do the same thing that a human will do and it will scream.

Cats are very expressive creatures and there is no lack to the amount of communication that they have with us it is our job to know how to decipher these communications and ensure that we are being good parents.
